Are you ready for the ultimate cycling challenge?

Join FulGaz super user John Hallas and the team from The Death Ride for a month-long adventure that will test your endurance, strength, and stamina like never before.

The Death Ride, also known as the Tour of the California Alps, is the toughest ride on FulGaz. It covers 163 kilometres and 3992 metres of ascent, with six epic climbs over Monitor Pass, Ebbetts Pass, and Carson Pass.

You’ll experience breathtaking views, thrilling descents, and steep gradients that will push you to your limits. This is not a ride for the faint-hearted. You’ll need to complete as much of the full ride as you can in one single go, with no pausing or saving for later. The clock doesn’t stop, just like in real life. But don’t worry, you can take as many breaks as you need for food, water, or rest. Just keep FulGaz running and enjoy the ride.

You can attempt this challenge anytime during the month of February 2024. If you’re not happy with your time or distance, you can try again as many times as you want. Your most recent time will be recorded on the leaderboard, so make sure you give it your best shot.

This is your chance to conquer one of the most legendary rides in the world, from the comfort of your own home. You’ll also get support and encouragement from the FulGaz community, who will be cheering you on along the way. Don’t miss this opportunity to challenge yourself and have fun with FulGaz and The Death Ride.

No need to register for this ride, it can be found by searching ‘Death’ or under the ‘Live Group Rides and Races’ category in FulGaz.

All new users to FulGaz will receive a 14-Day free trial to get you started.
