Born and bred in Mt Beauty, Victoria. Paul has been riding bikes his entire life.
At 195cm and 95kg he’s an imposing figure on and off the bike.
Originally drawn to the fast and furious nature of mountain biking, he was crowned World Champion in the Eliminator category in 2013.
With strong results on the mountain bike, he proved to also be a handy road rider, taking a number of podiums at the UCI level on the Asian circuit.
He has also been National Cyclocross Champion of Australia several times. .
Today Paul lives as a pro cyclist with sponsors including Giant, Shimano, Falls Creek, Fox, Ride High Country and Oakley.
He is currently working on a TV show – “Trail Towns” – slated for the back half of 2020 that focuses on Australian towns rejuvenated thanks to cycling tourism.
