This easy ride follows 6 miles of the Intercounty Connector (ICC) Trail, which parallels the ICC, an east-west toll highway built to relieve congestion on Interstate 495 (the Capital Beltway), about 10 miles to the south. This is a mostly flat or downhill ride, with a few brief climbs and a short stretch of road riding near the midpoint.
