Mendenhall Glacier is one of the most beautiful and accessible glaciers in North America, a short distance from downtown Juneau, Alaska. The ride heads out on Glacier Highway towards the beautiful Mendenhall Loop Road finishing with views of the glacier just after the visitor centre. This view is likely to disappear out of sight over the next few years as the glacier retreats further as a result of global warming.
