Join the Virtual Tour de Brisbane on FulGaz and immerse yourself in this sell-out UCI Gran Fondo event. Ride through the heart of Brisbane’s CBD on fully closed roads, traverse the iconic Story Bridge, and tackle the Legacy Way tunnel multiple times before taking on the ascent of Mount Coot-Tha.

This is the only way to experience the full 110km route outside of race day and it’s exclusive to FulGaz, we encourage you to take part in the virtual event but also come back to the ride in FulGaz at any time to train ahead of next year’s event.

  3. Start riding! You have from the June 1 to June 30 to complete your chosen event distance.

Existing FulGaz users won’t need to register, this event will be visible on your  FulGaz home screen from Thursday 30th May.

The ‘Sprint Series’ will see riders tackle the 110km course broken up into three segments. These segments will  take riders between 1 hour and 1.5 hours, shorter segments to fit into your schedule. 

110km Gran fondo

Take on the full 110km Gran Fondo in one ride, whether you raced this year and want to improve your time or want to give it a go for the first time. 

UCI Gran Fondo 110km Tour de Brisbane

Featuring fully closed roads and an iconic city-based course, this is a world-class experience on two wheels. Your favourite course features are back with a world unique inner city ride with multiple river crossings including the Story Bridge. Save something for Mount Coot-Tha at the end of the ride, the steepening slopes start just after 86km.

Sprint Segment 1 - Start to Western Freeway

Stage 1 of our Tour de Brisbane Sprint Series takes us from the start of the race at the Brisbane Showgrounds, through Brisbane city via busways, over the Story Bridge, through Kangaroo Point and Westend before heading into the Legacy Way tunnel for the first time and onto the Western Freeway.

Sprint Segment 2 - Western Freeway to Hamilton

Stage 2 of our Tour de Brisbane Sprint Series starts heading southbound on the Western Freeway before making a turn back north and another pass through the Legacy Way Tunnel. Get ready for waterfront views as you ride both ways down Kingsford Smith Drive in Hamilton.

Sprint Segment 3 - Hamilton to the finish

Our final and third stage begins heading south on Kingsford Smith Drive before our third pass through Legacy Way Tunnel, a great warm up before Mount Coot-Tha. With an average gradient of 9% and pinches of up to 13%, make sure your legs are warm for this one. With a few rollers at the top, be rewarded for your efforts with a fast descent down the other side and great views of Brisbane city before completing your final pass through Legacy Way Tunnel and onto the finish line outside the Brisbane Showgrounds.
