Returning FulGaz contributor, Johnny Stausholm has been busy capturing some STUNNING rides from his native homeland of Norway.
In part two of Johnny’s rides you’ll be greeted with quiet Norwegian roads, country towns, rolling hills and some breathtaking views as you pedal along.
Our recommendation from the collection this week is Fidjeland to Tonstad featuring some stunning views of the region’s trademark mountains and cliffs.
Find all these rides under NEW in the FulGaz app or by searching the contributor’s name. You can check out part 1 of Johnny’s collection here.
The route starts from the cabin area at Fidjeland Høyfjellhotell. From the roundabout at Sinnes, approximately10 km from the start, and all the way to Tonstad, we cycle on part of the trail to the start of the 2nd stage of the professional cycling race Tour of Norway 2021. The route goes via Sinnes and straight down to Tonstad through wonderful beautiful surroundings between high mountains and running water from mountains and rivers. Many cyclists cycle from a long way to Tonstad to have a break and a cup of coffee and some tasty bread. The trip is mainly a descent from start to finish, so it's important to keep your eyes open if you're going to enjoy the beautiful surroundings.More Info
