GLASGOW GRAN FONDO TIME TRIAL

A flat out-and-back course starting and finishing at Kingennie near Monifieth in Angus, Scotland, and turning around at the Salmond’s Muir junction north of Carnoustie. Filmed in unseasonably hot weather (26C) for Scotland, this ride was assisted by a south-westerly tailwind of between 16 and 24 km/h all the way out. It was a battle against the wind on the way back! The real thing will be ridden on closed roads on 7 August 2023 but this filmed ride included quite a lot of traffic on a busy dual carriageway.
