Maui is the second-largest of the Hawaiian Islands. Cycle in the north-west of the island, following the Honoapillani Highway 30 clockwise through Kapalua around to Poelua Bay. The ride gets twistier and hillier, the further you go. There is a big climb - nearly 20% - just after the bridge at 17Km/10.75 miles.
