ALTO DA FóIA VIA PICOTA
There are many different routes up to the highest mountain in the Algarve and this is the toughest one. This route features annually as a stage finish in the Volta ao Algarve. Ride the same roads as the pros up to the statue at the top depicting the 2020 tour winner Remco Evenepoel.

The LEJOG equivalent in Portugal is the N2end, a 738km ride along the National 2 road. This ride takes us up the first real hill when heading north from Faro to Barranco do Velho.
