This week, first-time contributor Joanna Sharpe brings us a fun collection from the land of the long white cloud, New Zealand.
The pick this week is Coleville and Beyond, starting in Coromandel Town, a stunning holiday destination in the North Island, this route is full of rolling climbs with stunning sea views as you ride through the bushland the area is famous for.

Held annually on New Years Eve, this cycle race may be short in distance but it makes up for that in elevation. Starting and finishing at the swim club, coming back to checkpoint between each peak, you are going to want to fuel up as you’ll be taking on 930m of climbing across 3 peaks of road and gravel. You won't see many other riders as it's an event where you can start at anytime, and do the climbs in any order. Can you beat the female race record of 1:57 or the men’s at 1:42?
