More InfoRecorded on a typical Yorkshire summer day and starting off in Wensley, you have a kilometre to get warmed up before you reach Witton Steeps which is an historical old road leading to Middleham. Don’t worry about the road sign warning of the 25% climb ahead, it only gets to 21% on the first bend and that’s the worst, although the gradient is frequently double digits as you huff and puff to the top. Once there enjoy the descent past the Gallops and down to the finish in Middleham where King Richard III once lived.
More InfoAfter a few kilometres we arrive at the Velebit National Park, and after 21.6 km we arrive at the Alan mountain hut Alan. During the ride, we can enjoy wonderful views of the Adriatic islands and the sea.
