This climb is one of the toughest mountain climbs in Catalonia, Lo Port, also known as Mont Caro, and located in the Parc Natural dels Ports.
Lo Port has been climbed four times in the Volta a Catalunya, the last time in 2017, when Alejandro Valverde (Movistar Team) won ahead of Chris Froome (Team Sky) and Alberto Contador (Trek - Segafredo).
