Exploring Uluru

Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, Northern Territory, Australia

Sightseeing - Easy

Our first ever ride from the Northern Territory, a mostly flat 16km route gives you a stunning sunrise view of Uluru. Uluru is a sacred site to the Anangu of Central Australia, the indigenous peoples of the Western Desert, who still perform traditional ceremonies and pass down the knowledge and stories of their ancestors. The Anangu have lived and inhabited the area for more than 30,000 years and still remain to this day. FulGaz pays its respects to the traditional custodians of this land, the Yankunytjatjara and Pitjantjatjara people, the traditional landowners of Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park people and recognise their elders past, present and emerging. This route was filmed with permission of the traditional owners.
