You cycle from the island of Čiovo to the mainland and then around the ancient part of Trogir, heading towards Split and passing the international airport of Split/Kastela.
The tour is alongside a nearby series of fortifications called "Kastela“ that are built in the 15th century between the ancient cities of Split and Trogir, following the coastal line of the Adriatic sea. There you can find one of the oldest trees in Europe: an olive tree approx. 1500 years old. At the Kastel stari ("Old Fortification“) you turn to your left to begin the climb towards the mountains. The ride ends at a viewpoint overlooking the impressive panorama.
The nearby mountain range offers a vast number of rides, ranging from easy, sightseeing tours to exhausting fights against elevation, wind and endless roads with breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape, the coast and the Adriatic with its islands.
