After a small hill, the ride follows west along the flood plain of the old Saco river course which now flows further to the south. It then turns north toward the White Mountain National Forest which is located across Maine and New Hampshire border, and finishes on a popular 2.35 mile, 7% average climb up to the top of Evans Notch. This early Autumn ride has some very nice scenery of farmland and the Mountains.
