A late April afternoon ride to take in the local bulb fields, and not far from the world famous Keukenhof gardens; mostly tulips at this time. Many of the bare fields had daffodils in them a month earlier. As well as a feast for the eyes, in real life you get to experience the fantastic scent of the flowers hanging in the air.
The start point is the Crash Museum near Aalsmeer which was an end point of an earlier recorded ride and this one finishes near the town of Sassenheim. As you could expect, there will be no climbing on this ride. However IRL, as almost always in these parts, the wind makes a pretty good substitute and a number of flags along the way testify to that.
