Beginning in the historic gold mining town of Idaho City, this ride follows the Ponderosa Scenic Byway through the Boise National Forest. The first of two summits gradually builds to 5.5% grade while the second summit is followed by a long flowing descent to the tiny river-bank town of Lowman.
