This is one of the most extraordinary roads you’ll ever experience. Situated in the Pyrenees foothills the ride starts from the local town’s Saturday morning market before a shortish climb up to the gorge. The road cuts through the vertiginous limestone cliff faces with sheer drops down to the River Agly below. The ride turns around halfway at a small village and heads back to the town square via the gorge again.
