OC-14 Box Hill and Ranmore Common 2020

Box Hill, Surrey, England

Hilly - Official UK Climbs

Box Hill (OC-14) is a summit of the North Downs in Surrey. The hill takes its name from the ancient box woodland found on the steepest west-facing chalk slopes overlooking the River Mole. Box Hill featured prominently on the route of the 2012 Summer Olympics cycling road race events, the men doing nine circuits and the women doing two circuits. After completing the Box Hill loop, cross under the A24 to Westhumble to test your legs up Ranmore Common Road, finishing at Denbies Hillside high up on the common.
