My Dad's family is from the Isle of Man. I still remember summer holidays there as a kid and later, some epic races there during International Cycling week. Port Erin is one of the nicest rides of the island passing through St Mary's, a calm and sheltered section with quieter costal roads. One can almost see the Calf of Man at the South of the Island, though the real prize is the grassy green pastures of the Port. Be sure to check out the Nook cafeteria at the base of the beach.
