A hilly loop around the eastern promontory of Penmon, on the island of Anglesey.
After visiting Red Wharf Bay, climb steeply to the hamlet of Llanddona before a fast descent to Beaumaris, where you will pass the unfinished Beaumaris Castle, built as part of Edward I's campaign to conquer Wales after 1282.
This ride was filmed on a sunny day in early Feb 2020, the day before Storm Ciara blew through with its snow and 80mph winds, bringing large parts of the UK to a standstill.
