A flying start into a warm-up lap, then sixteen laps of the closed course at Heffron park with National Road Series (NRS) Team Nero Continental. Nero Continental's goal is to create and contribute positively to the cycling community (and the community at large) in Australia.

Heffron Park Criterium Track is a two-kilometre dedicated racing circuit in Maroubra. The track sits among an extensive suite of recreational facilities including football fields, netball courts and an aquatic centre.
Lap six, starting just after 10Km, is a timed FulGaz segment.
