Transition 1 and bike start are inside the Marina Cabo Marques. The first 600 meters (0.3 miles) of the course are in a hill climb. Immediately after is a bumpy descent, going through Blvd de las Naciones and Viaducto Diamante. The course ends in front of Pierre Mundo Imperial Hotel, where T2 is located.
The pavement is in good condition. Aid stations are located every 8.6 miles approx. The time limit for the bike stage is 5 hours and 30 minutes after the last athlete starts the swimming stage
