This wonderful over 28 kms climb starts gently up through the river valley past Gedrè. Once you ride through the town of Gavarnie the topography changes. You will see the sign post for the start of the Col de Tentes climb taking you above 2200 m and a view of Spain and snow on a beautiful 34°C day!
