Starting on the river Nar in Castle Acre, a beautiful village steeped in history.
This castle was built just after the Norman Conquest in 1085 and a well-preserved Priory was built not long after in 1090, even its town walls are a set of ruined medieval defences with pretty little shops and several cafes serving afternoon teas all set the scene.
Following the Nar Valley through West Lexham and Litcham we then head north through Tittleshall to finish the ride at Whissonsett.
