Meteora is an incredible set of Eastern Orthodox monasteries and a UNESCO World Heritage protected site inhabited since the 11th century where six (of an original twenty-four) monasteries are built on immense natural pillars.
We start in the town of Kalabaka at the foot of these amazing geological structures and head up through the beautiful village of Kastraki passing all six monasteries on our way to the top where we will loop back passing the entrance gate of the Holy Monastery of Great Meteoran, the largest of the Meteora monasteries and finish our ride outside the Meteora E-bike shop in Kalabaka.
