Afton Switchbacks is the return ride to Crozet from half way up Afton mountain. This is a very scenic route with lesser travelled roads. On the way we are passing several wineries, large horse farms, and a huge peach orchard right before town. If you're feeling guilty about more descending than climbing, consider checking out one of the local climbs into the Blue Ridge Mountains (Crabtree Falls, Love Gap, Afton, and Raven's Roost).
