Johnny Stausholm has pulled together a selection of routes from around Denmark. A favourite around the FulGaz office, and perfect for that recovery ride, is the Grenaa Ride. It relatively flat route through the Jutland countryside.
The separated cycling infrastructure shows us why Denmark is one of the best places to ride a bike!

The ride takes place in Djursland in Jutland, Denmark. It starts in the small village of Ørum, and continues through two other villages: Fannerup and Enslev. Then the ride ends in my hometown, Grenaa, Jutland's easternmost town. (No cruisers or dreadnoughts were harmed in the making of this video.)

Then through beautiful forest areas on small roads that invite high speed. From Vivild we visit Auning and Kolindsund, then to Fannerup with its hillier terrain. From Fannerup, the trip goes to Ørum. This segment goes to the roundabout in Glesborg. From Glesborg we cycle quietly and calmly back to the dirt road starting point.
