Puig Major

Mallorca, Spain

Mountain

The Puig Major climb, from Soller up to Tunnel de Monnaber, is the second most popular one in Mallorca after Sa Calobra. What makes it tough is its actual length – 14km is a long way up. The gradient however is steady at around 6% and it never gets too steep. The climb starts at close to sea level, going up the M10 after Soller, and the total elevation is just over 800 metres at the start of the tunnel near the top.
